• Why do I need P&L statement?

Some say without a P&L you don't have a business. While this may sound extreme, it does make you better understand where the money is going. Relying solely on revenue may be misleading since it does not tell you if your business is profitable or not. When you gather both income and expenses, you can only see how much of the revenue remains.
