How to submit your Gumroad product

Listing on GumCircles is free. You add us as a Gumroad affiliate, paste the link Gumroad gives you, and we take care of the rest — metadata, images, category pages and search indexing.

  • →Your submission must use the Gumroad affiliate link, not the plain product URL.
  • →No adult content, and nothing harmful or illegal.

Step by step

Six steps, about five minutes.

  1. 01

    Open your product in Gumroad

    Sign in to Gumroad and go to Products → select the product you want to list. You need to be the product owner: affiliate links can only be created by the seller.

    Only products sold through Gumroad can be listed on GumCircles.

  2. 02

    Add GumCircles as an affiliate

    In Gumroad go to Settings → Affiliates → Add affiliate, and add freelancernagaraj143@gmail.com with a 20% commission.

    Want Featured placement or Product of the Day? Set the commission to 40% instead. This is what funds the free listing.

  3. 03

    Copy the affiliate link Gumroad generates

    Once the affiliate is added, Gumroad shows a link that looks like https://gumroad.com/a/123456789/abcde. Copy it exactly.

    This is the only link format the submit form accepts — a normal product URL like yourname.gumroad.com/l/product will be rejected.

  4. 04

    Paste it into the submit form

    Sign in to GumCircles, go to Submit Product, and paste the affiliate link. We fetch the title, price, description and images from Gumroad automatically.

    Submitting several at once? Paste one link per line, or upload a .txt file of links.

  5. 05

    Choose a category and check the details

    Pick the category that fits best, then review the auto-filled URL slug, SEO title and meta description. Edit anything that reads awkwardly — this is what shows in Google.

    The slug becomes your product URL, so keep it short and descriptive. We check availability as you type.

  6. 06

    Wait for approval

    Every submission is reviewed by hand to confirm the affiliate link works and the commission is set correctly. Approval usually takes 24–48 hours.

    Once approved your product appears in its category, in search, and in the sitemap we submit to Google.

Promoting products as an affiliate

You don't need to sell anything to earn on GumCircles. Browse the directory, find products that fit your audience, and click through to the product on Gumroad to see whether the creator has opened their affiliate programme and at what rate.

Affiliate approval, cookie windows and payouts are all handled by Gumroad directly — GumCircles is a discovery layer, not a payment processor. That means you're paid on Gumroad's normal schedule, with no extra account to manage.

Frequently asked questions

Is listing on GumCircles free?
Yes. Listing is free. Instead of a fee we ask that you add GumCircles as a Gumroad affiliate at 20% commission, so we only earn when we actually send you a sale.
Why does my submission need an affiliate link?
The affiliate link is how sales get attributed. Gumroad handles the tracking and pays the commission automatically, so there is nothing to reconcile manually on either side.
What commission do I need to set?
20% for a standard listing. If you want Featured placement or a Product of the Day slot, set 40% instead.
My link was rejected. Why?
The form only accepts Gumroad affiliate links beginning with https://gumroad.com/a/. A direct product URL such as yourname.gumroad.com/l/product will not work — you need the link Gumroad generates after you add an affiliate.
How long does approval take?
Usually 24–48 hours. Each submission is checked by hand to confirm the affiliate link resolves and the commission is set as stated.
Can I submit more than one product at a time?
Yes. Paste one affiliate link per line in the submit form, or upload a .txt file with one link per line. Each product still gets its own category and SEO fields.
Can I edit a product after it is listed?
Yes. Open your dashboard to update the category, slug, SEO title and meta description at any time. Price and images re-sync from Gumroad.
Do I need a Gumroad account to be an affiliate?
Yes, if you want to promote other people's products and earn commission. Gumroad handles payouts directly — GumCircles is a discovery layer, not a payment processor.
What kind of products are not accepted?
No adult content and nothing harmful or illegal. Submissions with broken affiliate links, or where the stated commission is not actually set, are rejected.
